Oyo State Government Reschedules Exams Due to Oro Festival on July 31st

The Oyo State Government has announced a change in the examination schedule for SSS1 & 2 Joint Promotion Examination and Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) initially set for Wednesday, July 31, 2024. This decision comes as the date coincides with the Oro Cultural Festival in Oyo Town, which imposes restrictions on female movement, thereby affecting all female students slated to take the exams.
Consequently, all affected exams have been rescheduled. A revised timetable is attached for strict compliance.
