Tension Grips Lagos Community Following Murder of Monarch’s Son

Tension has erupted in the Ajiran community of Agungi Area, Lekki, Lagos State, following the murder of Demola, the eldest son of the Ojomu of Ajiran land, Tijani Akinloye. The attack occurred on Monday along Chevron Drive near Ebano Supermarket, where armed assailants shot and killed him.
Sources, who requested anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the situation, confirmed the incident. The community has been left in a state of fear, leading many residents to flee.
An estate management notice has confirmed the assassination and urged residents to avoid the Chevron, Agungi, and Ajiran areas for their safety. The notice read, “We regret to inform residents that the king’s son from Ajiran (Agungi) was assassinated this morning along Chevron Drive, near Ebano Supermarket. For your safety, please avoid these areas temporarily.”
When contacted, Lagos State Police Command spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin stated he was not yet informed about the incident but promised to provide updates as soon as he received more details.
