I Used Kidnapping Ransom for My Children’s Education and Household Needs – Alleged Lagos Kidnapper

Tosin Oke, a suspect in a high-profile kidnapping case in Lagos, has revealed that he utilized his share of the ransom money to pay for his children’s school fees and cover other household expenses.

Several months ago, a group of six armed men kidnapped an oil executive from his dredging site on Ado Road in Ajah, Lagos. They transported him to an undisclosed location by speedboat, taking precautions to prevent any intervention by firing warning shots.

The victim’s family managed to gather N42 million, which was converted into $30,000, as well as an extra N100,000 in cash. This ransom was delivered to the kidnappers. In a video posted by Vanguard, Oke, who is among those arrested, expressed his regret about his criminal involvement. Speaking in Pidgin English, Oke revealed
