Primate Ayodele Warns of China’s Threat to Nigeria’s Future, Criticizes Reliance on Dangote Refinery

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a stark warning about Nigeria’s growing dependence on China. He claims that China’s financial dealings with Nigeria could compromise the country’s future for the next century.
Ayodele argued that Nigeria possesses the resources to achieve economic independence but is hindered by governmental inefficiency and lack of initiative. In a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele criticized the government’s reliance on foreign loans and emphasized that even the construction of 10,000 Dangote refineries would not resolve Nigeria’s problems if the government fails to address its issues.
He stated, “Nigeria is blessed with all the resources needed for self-sufficiency, yet we continue to seek loans from China. These loans will exacerbate Nigeria’s economic struggles and China is on the verge of compromising our future. With the current state of the economy and governmental confusion, we face a debt crisis that will affect both the wealthy and the poor in under nine months.”
Ayodele also noted that despite potential advancements like the Dangote refinery, the country will not see improvements in dollar value or fuel prices unless the government takes decisive action.
