Nigerian comedian Lasisi Elenu has ignited discussions on social media by expressing his longing for former President Muhammadu Buhari during these challenging times.

 

In light of the prevailing hardships in the country, Lasisi shared his sentiments, stating he misses Buhari. Known for his comedic insights into societal issues, his remarks have prompted both humor and introspection among his audience.

 

Real name Nosa Afolabi, Lasisi posted a voice note on Instagram where he candidly addressed Buhari, almost in tears, conveying his feelings. He stated, “I’m not speaking for anyone else. This is for me and my family. I never expected to find myself in this position. Honestly, I miss you. God help me; I’m struggling.”

 

Buhari left office in May 2023, and since then, many Nigerians have noted a decline in economic conditions. Lasisi’s post has garnered a range of reactions online, with some supporters reminiscing about the stability of Buhari’s administration, while others highlighted the challenges experienced during his tenure.
