Atiku’s Aide: Reasons Tinubu Can’t Match Obasanjo’s Achievements

An aide to Atiku Abubakar has come out in strong defense of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, asserting that Bola Tinubu is no match for the esteemed leader, often referred to as “Ebora” (The Spectre). According to the aide, Obasanjo is a true nationalist who has always prioritized the welfare of Nigeria and its citizens, regardless of their ethnicity or background.

“Obasanjo is not a bigot; he genuinely loves Nigeria and its people. His stature, both in Nigeria and internationally, far surpasses that of current politicians,” the aide said. “Unlike others, there’s no debate about his educational credentials or any allegations about his integrity. He has never been involved in any international scandals, including drug-related financial forfeitures.”

The aide further highlighted Obasanjo’s economic policies, calling them among the most successful since Nigeria returned to democracy in 1999. These achievements, they argued, are values worthy of admiration.

“Let’s be clear: Tinubu cannot even begin to compare with Obasanjo in terms of leadership, character, or legacy,” the aide concluded.
