Israel-Gaza-Lebanon Conflict: ICC Issues Arrest Warrants for Israeli Prime Minister, Netanyahu, Gallant

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified their military operations with ongoing airstrikes and ground assaults in Gaza, particularly in its northern regions, as well as in Lebanon, targeting locations across the country, including the Lebanese capital, Beirut. These military actions coincide with renewed diplomatic efforts from the White House ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s return to office in January.

Meanwhile, tensions between Israel and Iran continue to escalate, following Israel’s recent missile strikes on multiple military targets across Iran. These strikes came in retaliation to Iran’s missile attack on October 1.
ICC Issues Warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant

The Hague-based court stated there were “reasonable grounds” to believe the two officials were responsible for violations of international law, and emphasized that Israel’s acceptance of the court’s jurisdiction is not required for the warrants to be valid.
