HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO HOST NATIONAL DIALOGUE ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT REFORM AND CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT

Abuja-FCT | Sunday, December 1, 2024 – The House Committee on Constitution Review (HCCR), under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, is preparing to host a National Dialogue on Local Government and Constitutional Amendments, scheduled for one day.
In a statement ahead of the event, Rt. Hon. Kalu, who also serves as the Deputy Speaker, highlighted the significance of the gathering:
“This dialogue serves as a crucial opportunity to bring together ideas and strategies for building a stronger local government framework, which plays a key role in the ongoing constitutional review process. As we continue this important work, let us stay focused on our collective goal of strengthening democracy, enhancing our federal system, and promoting unity and prosperity for all Nigerians.”
