See How Anambra Billionaire, Chief Mighty-Mighty, Builds 20 Houses for the Poor, Gifts Each Family 1 Million Naira

Anambra-based oil magnate, Chief Abraham Ikechukwu Otti, popularly known as Ikenga Umuchu or Mighty-Mighty, has made a significant impact in his community by constructing 20 houses for impoverished families across Aguata Local Government Area in Anambra State and Ideato North LGA in Imo State.

In addition to building the homes, Chief Otti ensured that each house was fully furnished and stocked with enough food supplies to last for over three months. He also gave each family an extra 1 million Naira to help them start new businesses. Some beneficiaries even received mini-buses as part of the empowerment initiative.
Further enhancing his philanthropic efforts, Chief Otti commissioned a new 6-kilometer road connecting Umuchu in Anambra State to Amanasaa in Imo State.
The gesture was explained by the Chairman of Achalla Village, Umuchu, Nze Chimezie Ikeh, who stated that the initiative was designed to reduce poverty and improve the lives of the less fortunate. He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of their new homes and the financial support to better their lives and contribute more positively to society.
Igwe Godson Ezechukwu, the traditional ruler of Umuchu, who was represented by Prof. Echezona Ifejirika, the Palace Secretary, also praised the generosity, noting that it would not only improve the recipients’ lives but help keep the youth away from the streets.
Beneficiaries such as Mrs. Alice Okeke from Umuchu and Mrs. Esther Obiagwu from Akokwa (Imo State) expressed their gratitude and prayed for continued blessings for Chief Otti.
This year’s gesture follows Otti’s 2023 charity work, where he built 10 houses in his Umuchu community and donated 600,000 Naira to each household. His philanthropic efforts were recognized last year when he received the Heart of Gold Award from Champion newspaper and was named Anambra Philanthropist
of the Year.
