See How NAF Airstrikes Eliminate 32 ISWAP Fighters in Borno State

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), as part of Operation Hadin Kai, conducted a successful airstrike against Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters in Dogon Chikun, Borno State, on December 25.

The airstrike reportedly killed 32 ISWAP militants and destroyed vital weapons and equipment used by the insurgents. The target, a regrouping point for ISWAP fighters, was identified following internal infighting within the group.

The strike, considered precise and intelligence-driven, was designed to disrupt the insurgents’ ability to regroup and launch further attacks. Military sources revealed that Dogon Chikun had been under continuous surveillance due to its strategic significance for ISWAP’s operations.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama confirmed that Operation Hadin Kai, the ongoing Nigerian military campaign against ISWAP and Boko Haram in the Northeast, is intensifying efforts to eliminate insurgent strongholds and logistics networks. He emphasized that the targeted strike at Dogon Chikun reflects the military’s determined efforts to weaken the terrorist groups’ operational capabilities in the
