Akwa Ibom Governor Explains Why He Hosted Farewell Dinner for Former Cabinet Members

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has explained that the decision to host a valedictory dinner for his former commissioners and Special Advisers was to honor their significant contributions to his administration’s ARISE agenda.
The Governor made this statement in Uyo, the state capital, during a special dinner organized to bid farewell to the departing members of the state executive council.
The event marked a unique and grand farewell, unlike anything previously witnessed in Akwa Ibom, as both the Governor and the people of the state came together to show appreciation to the outgoing cabinet members. Governor Eno emphasized that while their official roles had ended, their journey was far from over.
In their speeches, the former commissioners expressed gratitude to the Governor and the people of Akwa Ibom for the privilege to serve in the administration.
The dinner was filled with vibrant music, cultural displays, comedy, and heartfelt presentations to honor the former cabinet members.
