The Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has apprehended two individuals suspected of vandalizing a telecommunications mast.
The suspects, Yakubu Muhammad and Rabiu Suleiman, were taken into custody by the NSCDC’s anti-vandal task force in the Okumi area, near Natako in Lokoja, following a routine surveillance and reliable intelligence.
During the press briefing, the State Commandant, Akinlade Esther, revealed that the suspects were caught in the act of damaging an Etisalat antenna mast in Lokoja.
She added that the suspects would face legal action once the investigation is completed.
