Joe Igbokwe Predicts Tinubu’s Second-Term Victory, Urges Opponents to Rethink 2027 Challenge

Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has confidently asserted that President Bola Tinubu is set to secure a second term in office in 2027. Igbokwe urged opponents of Tinubu to reconsider their plans of contesting against him, emphasizing that the president’s continued leadership will steer Nigeria toward significant progress.

Igbokwe reminded the public of Tinubu’s extensive history in Nigerian politics, referencing his previous support for former presidential candidates like Atiku Abubakar and Nuhu Ribadu, as well as former President Muhammadu Buhari, before finally ascending to the presidency himself.

On his Facebook page, Igbokwe advised opposition figures to thoroughly understand Tinubu’s remarkable political journey before challenging him in 2027. He outlined the president’s extensive background, from his early years with Mobil Nigeria to his tenure as a senator, his eight years as governor of Lagos State, and his instrumental role in the formation of key political parties such as the SDP, AD, AC, ACN, and APC.

Igbokwe also highlighted Tinubu’s contributions over the years, including the resources and energy he invested, the bridges he built across the country, and his two-decade preparation for the presidency. He recalled how Tinubu supported Atiku, Ribadu, and Buhari in their presidential bids, before eventually entering the race himself and winning in 2023.

“The president’s tireless efforts, his alliances, and his mentorship of countless individuals across Nigeria cannot be matched,” Igbokwe stated. “His efforts to shape Nigeria’s future are evident in every part of the country.”

He then dismissed any doubts about Tinubu’s future success, stressing that the president will not only win a second term but will also continue to strengthen and develop Nigeria, grow the economy, and reform the country’s systems.

“Anyone planning to contest in 2027 must thoroughly research their opponents,” Igbokwe concluded. “Look at their backgrounds, track records, and achievements before stepping forward to challenge a man of such distinction.”
