Obidient Movement Reveals New Logo Ahead of 2027 Elections

As the 2027 general elections approach, the leadership of the Obidient Movement introduced a new logo on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

Tanko Yunusa, the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, stated that the updated emblem represents the core values and essence of the Obidient family. He emphasized that the centerpiece of the logo is an image of Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate for the Labour Party, whom Yunusa described as a leader exemplifying integrity, humility, and unwavering dedication to service.

Yunusa explained that Obi’s contributions to the Obidient Movement and to the Nigerian people have inspired a platform based on accountability, competence, and compassion. “His image in this logo is not just of an individual; it symbolizes the collective hope of millions who believe in a government that serves the people, not the privileged few,” Yunusa said.

He further elaborated that the new logo is a powerful declaration of the movement’s commitment to justice, equality, and a brighter future for Nigeria—a country where merit is valued over mediocrity, every citizen’s voice counts, and leadership is grounded in transparency and the public’s interest.

Yunusa stressed that the Obidient Movement is not about one person but a collective effort of all those determined to challenge the existing system. “This is about a new generation rising to demand more, work harder, and aim higher,” he added.

The coordinator also noted that the logo would serve as a reminder to Obidient Movement members that their mission transcends politics, aiming to create a nation that works for everyone. “Together, we will continue to stand for truth, serve with humility, and remain steadfast in our pursuit of a Nigeria founded on dignity, fairness, and progress. We are Obidient. We are resilient. And together, a new Nigeria is possible,” Yunusa

concluded.
