Kebbi Governor’s Aide Suspended for Bringing Snake to Government House

Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant, Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State on Power and Politics, has been suspended immediately by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for bringing a snake to the Government House, according to reports by News360 Nigeria.
The suspension was announced in a statement released by the Kebbi APC Secretary, Alhaji Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba.
The statement, issued on Sunday, revealed that on February 8, 2025, Sani-Giant brought a snake into the Government House, causing distress among dignitaries, public figures, and officials present.
Muhammad-Kimba stated that such behavior was inappropriate and had the potential to embarrass and tarnish the image of the APC.
He further explained that the action violated the party’s constitution and was deemed both offensive and disgraceful.
“His suspension is effective immediately and will remain in place while an investigation is conducted. Depending on the findings, further disciplinary measures, including possible expulsion, may be taken if similar incidents occur again,” said Muhammad-Kimba.
