Clarifying the False Allegations Regarding the Disruption of Remi Tinubu’s Empowerment Program – Dr. Adaeze Oreh

I, Dr. Adaeze Oreh, the former Commissioner under Governor Sim Fubara and daughter of Sir Peter and Justice Mary Odili, am compelled to respond to the unfounded and baseless accusations regarding my involvement in the disruption of the First Lady’s empowerment program on Friday, May 2, 2025.
These allegations are completely false, fabricated, and appear to be the result of malicious rumors and the actions of individuals with personal agendas. Such claims are an attempt to damage my reputation and create unnecessary division.
I call on the so-called “Concerned Rivers Youth Organisation” (if such an entity indeed exists) to provide concrete evidence to substantiate their claims. It is important that any criticisms are grounded in facts rather than speculation or politically motivated narratives.
I categorically deny any involvement in actions designed to disrupt or discredit the work of the administration appointed by His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, who declared a state of emergency in Rivers State on March 18, 2025. During my suspension, I have been focused on my personal endeavors and pursuing my doctoral studies, rather than engaging in political disruptions.
My commitment remains steadfast towards the development and progress of Rivers State, and I continue to support efforts aimed at the betterment of the state.
I also urge all parties involved to prioritize truthfulness, integrity, and respect in public conversations. Unverified and reckless claims only serve to undermine trust and hinder meaningful dialogue, which is counterproductive at this crucial time. Let us come together to foster unity, promote constructive discussions, and work collaboratively for a brighter future for Rivers State.
Sincerely,
Dr. Adaeze Chidinma Oreh
Former Honourable Commissioner for Health, Rivers State
