A New Dawn in Ijesaland: Asiwaju Oyebamiji Congratulates Oba Haastrup on His Coronation

Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, a leading aspirant for the Osun State governorship under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has congratulated the people of Ijesaland and His Imperial Majesty, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko III, on his coronation as the Owa Obokun and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland.
In his message, Asiwaju Oyebamiji described the coronation as a proud and joyful moment for Ijesaland. He praised the new monarch for his experience, leadership qualities, and deep connection to the people.
“Oba Haastrup’s ascension to the throne is a blessing to Ijesaland. He is a man of wisdom, peace, and progress. I believe his reign will bring development and unity to our land,” he said.
Oyebamiji also encouraged all sons and daughters of Ijesaland to support the new king as he begins this important journey. He said the strength of the community lies in unity and respect for tradition.
As a gubernatorial aspirant, Oyebamiji reaffirmed his commitment to working with traditional rulers and community leaders to move Osun State forward. He said he believes in leadership that listens, includes everyone, and protects the state’s cultural values.
“I congratulate Kabiyesi and the entire people of Ijesaland. May his reign be long, peaceful, and filled with progress,” he added.
