SARS has been Reformed, Know Your Rights!
The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) has undergone a major overhaul. Below are the newly established guidelines governing their operations:
1. SARS officers are strictly prohibited from getting involved in civil disputes.
2. They must not interfere in cybercrime-related issues (commonly referred to as “Yahoo Yahoo”).
3. SARS personnel are not allowed to carry out stop-and-search operations unless responding to an emergency call or a report from the public.
4. They have no authority in commercial disagreements such as debt recovery or landlord-tenant conflicts.
5. They must stay out of social and relationship-related issues, including marital or romantic disputes.
6. Their role is exclusively focused on tackling armed robbery and kidnapping.
📢 Nigerians, be informed! Stand up for your rights. Let’s build a better Nigeria together!

How to Spot a Fake Police Officer:
1. Genuine police ID numbers are always six digits long. Anything less is likely fake.
2. Only female officers have ID numbers starting with “0”. Male officers with a “0” at the beginning of their ID should raise suspicion.
3. Official name tags are sewn directly onto the uniform. Removable name tags are no longer in use.
4. SPY (Supernumerary) police officers wear uniforms clearly labeled with “SPY” on the shoulder, and their ID numbers are usually three to four digits.
