2027 Elections: NRM Calls on Fadojoe to Help Rescue Nigeria in 2027

Olorunmagba Urges Him to Join a Genuine Movement for National Transformation
KADUNA — By Ibrahim Hassan-Wuyo
The National Rescue Movement (NRM) has extended a formal invitation to Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, widely known as Fadojoe and a former presidential aspirant under the Labour Party (LP), encouraging him to join the NRM in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections.
Rev. Emmanuel Olorunmagba, the party’s National Financial Secretary, made the appeal in a statement to the press, calling on Fadojoe to align with what he described as an authentic platform for national renewal.
“With 2027 fast approaching, now is the time for true patriots to rally behind a party like the NRM — one that prioritizes rescuing Nigeria from the grip of entrenched, outdated leadership,” Rev. Olorunmagba said.
He criticized the Labour Party’s internal dynamics, claiming that Fadojoe was sidelined despite his early and significant contributions to its development, particularly before the entry of former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi.
“Fadojoe and his supporters worked diligently to build the LP’s foundation, only to be marginalized when new players emerged. The NRM presents a more equitable and effective path for leaders like him to achieve their vision for Nigeria,” Olorunmagba stated.
He also condemned the dominant political forces — the APC and PDP — labeling them as indistinguishable in their failures. “Nigerians have grown weary of the APC’s broken promises, while the PDP has morphed into its shadow. Now, some of the same figures are launching yet another party, the African Democratic Assembly (ADA), just as they did with the APC in 2015,” he remarked.
Olorunmagba concluded by urging Fadojoe to take a leadership position within the NRM, emphasizing the urgent need for youthful, visionary leadership to steer Nigeria in a new direction ahead of 2027.
