ADEKUNLE AJASIN UNIVERSITY

AD/REG/CIR/58/VOL.VII/238

July 27, 2025

CIRCULAR TO ALL MEMBERS OF STAFF AND STUDENTS

AAUA

POSTPONEMENT OF THE 2ND SEMESTER, 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION EXAMINATIONS

The incessant attacks and killings of students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko in recent times is most unfortunate, and utterly condemned in the most virulent terms.

The Management is, once again, using this opportunity to sympathize most sincerely with the families of the deceased in particular, the larger student populace and staff of the university.

It is in view of these unfortunate incidents that the University Management has decided to postpone the 2nd Semester, 2024/2025 academic session examinations earlier scheduled to commence on Monday, 28th July, 2025 to commiserate with the families of the deceased and the entire student populace.

The examinations have now been rescheduled to commence on Thursday, 31st July, 2025.

The Management is engaging all relevant stakeholders, including security agencies and the host community, to ensure that such dastardly incident does not occur any longer.

May the souls of the departed students rest in perfect peace.

Thank you.
