Sam Larry Reacts to Iyabo Ojo Turning Off Comments Over Mohbad Issue
Show promoter Sam Larry has taken a jab at Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo after she disabled comments on her Instagram post amid backlash related to the ongoing controversy surrounding the late singer Mohbad, reports Eyes of Lagos.

Iyabo Ojo Drawn into WhatsApp Group Allegations
The situation intensified when online activist Verydarkman accused Iyabo Ojo of being part of a secret WhatsApp group reportedly made up of celebrities allegedly working to undermine his pursuit of justice for Mohbad. Verydarkman claimed this group discussed ways to silence or imprison him.
Iyabo Ojo quickly dismissed the accusations as false and defamatory. However, shortly after issuing her statement, she turned off comments on the post — a move many interpreted as a way to avoid public scrutiny. She eventually deleted the post altogether.
Sam Larry Fires a Sarcastic Response
Seizing on the moment, Sam Larry — who himself has faced serious accusations and public suspicion over Mohbad’s death — mocked Iyabo Ojo in a sarcastic social media message.
He wrote, “Small thing una dey off comment. Me wey dem say I kill Diego Jota, kill Buhari, I no off comment. Wọn tun sọ pé mo pa TV 😂😂😂. Please open comments make lovely Nigerians greet you o.”
