*A CALL TO DUTY: LET’S ENROL FOR OUR ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION, OUR VOTE MATTERS TO HAVE A GREATER OSUN EAST__PRINCE THOMAS OGUNGBANGBE*
On behalf of our principal, Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe, PhD, an illustrious son of the soil, a committed chieftain of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and a foremost voice in the struggle for a better Osun East, we extend warm greetings to the good people of this senatorial district.
As we all know, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise. The online registration began on the 18th of March, while the in-person registration will start on the 25th of August. This is not just an exercise; it is the foundation of our collective power, the true key to shaping our future.
Prince Thomas Ogungbangbe has consistently emphasised that the destiny of our people lies in our hands. The right to vote is not merely a civic responsibility; it is the strongest weapon with which we can bring about the change and progress that our district and our dear state deserve. To wield that weapon, each and every eligible son and daughter of Osun East must ensure they are duly registered.
We are not unaware that the process of registration may come with challenges. Some may face long queues, technical delays, or other inconveniences. But let us take courage in the words of our principal: “Greatness is never attained without sacrifice, and progress is never achieved without patience.” In enduring whatever difficulties may arise during this exercise, we must remember that it is for a cause greater than ourselves, it is for the prosperity of Osun East, for the empowerment of our youths, for the voice of our women, and for the future of generations yet unborn.
Prince Ogungbangbe, therefore, calls on the people of Ilesa, Ife, Obokun, Oriade, Atakunmosa, and every community within Osun East to come out massively, mobilise their families, friends, and neighbours, and ensure that no eligible voter is left behind. Let us embrace this opportunity with seriousness and commitment, for a vote not registered is a voice silenced.
The Ogungbangbe Movement Front (OMF) stands firmly with the people in this noble journey. Together, we can and we will build a stronger, more prosperous Osun East.
May God bless the Osun East Senatorial District.
May God bless Osun State.
May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
