Today, 3rd of September, in Ijeda-Ijesa, Osun State, in a visionary move, Amb. Chief Olaniyi Francis Ilesanmi(Ijoba Federal), the Majeobaote 1, of Ipetu Ijesa Kingdom, the Chief Patron of Friends of Seyi Tinubu (FOST), a humanitarian foundation, an aspirant contesting for senate, Osun East, is a respected philanthropist and accomplished business leader, He met with All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders across Oriade Local Government Area to consolidate political support and chart a new course for sustainable development in Osun East.

The consultation, held at the residence of High Chief Gabriel Emiola Ogunsanya(Feg Agro), APC Ijesa North leader, in Ijeda-Ijesa, brought together a formidable array of APC stakeholders, community leaders, youth representatives, and political influencers in a show of unity and forward-thinking strategy.

The Oriade Local Government, APC Party Chairman, Hon. Ajewole(Golo), set the tone by calling on all party stakeholders to recognise and support visionary youth leaders, emphasising that “it is youth o’clock.” This message was echoed by Alh. Rasaq, Ward 10 Chairman, and the representatives from the National Association of University Students (NAUS), including Ojo Oluwole Joseph (Baba Josy), Osunlana Olayemi (Olumighty), and Omopitan Opeyemi.
They spoke passionately about the leadership and philanthropic history of Amb. Ilesanmi is particularly dedicated to his alma mater, Elefosan, and his relentless support for youth empowerment in Ipetu-Ijesa and beyond.

In his address, Amb. Chief Olaniyi Francis Ilesanmi expressed deep appreciation to all leaders and stakeholders present. He reassured them of his commitment to inclusive development, emphasising that:
“If I succeed, every one of you will benefit from it.”
Amb. Ilesanmi drew inspiration from biblical references, likening his leadership journey to that of David among the Israelites, appointed to lead in a time of need. He appreciated everyone; APC Leaders, elders, youths including Friends of Seyi Tinubu (FOST) representative and National Association of University Students(NAUS) EXCOS present, He highlighted his vast experience as:

Amb. Olaniyi said he pioneered the biggest energy projects in Nigeria, the first of its kind in Osun State, bringing CNG and LNG to Ipetu Ijesa BOVAS Mega Station which will be launched by November,
He also spoke about his plans to attract investors to develop key sectors like agriculture, education, and tourism in Osun East. His ambition includes transforming Oluminrin Waterfalls into a renewable energy source and a tourist destination.

Ilesanmi highlighted several of his past initiatives such as repairing roads across Ipetu Ijesa, Oriade, and Osun East, hosting football competitions across Osun East to unite youth and sponsor the best players in the tournament, supporting community development, and people through his Majeobaote Foundation

Hon.Agunbiade particularly emphasised the need for proper party structure and hierarchy in the party ticket; he hailed Amb. Olaniyi Ilesanmi for being a courageous youth who knows what to do if he is given the opportunity, that party should bring a way to pick a candidate to avoid internal conflict and ask Amb. Olaniyi Ilesanmi, the kind of Ambassador he was appointed and that party will keep on watching his antecedents, He encourages him to keep on working, and appreciates the teaming youth, he is working with, they are the voting strength we need to win the election
