The Osun State Football Association has officially unveiled the logo for the 2026 Super 6 SmartCity Osun State Football League (Under-16 Male Category), marking a major step toward the grand finale of this year’s grassroots football season in the state.
Following an exciting regular campaign across three competitive groups, six teams have emerged to contest for the coveted Super 6 title. The qualified teams are:
Igbajo United Feeders, Igbajo
Hommydays FC, Osogbo
Crescent FC, India
Ileogbo United Feeders, Ileogbo
Ejigbo Football Academy, Ejigbo
Mikaj FC, Ilesa
Speaking on the preparations for the tournament, the Secretary of the Osun Football Association, Mr. Abayomi Amoo, announced that all matches will be played at the General Lagbaja Sports Centre, St. Charles Secondary School, Osogbo—a venue widely regarded for its consistency in developing young talents and hosting high-quality youth football competitions.
According to the schedule released by the FA, the first round of the Super 6 is set to commence on Saturday, December 13, 2026, with match fixtures to be unveiled shortly.
The Osun FA expressed confidence that the 2026 SmartCity Super 6 will provide a stronger platform for young players to display their skills, attract opportunities, and progress to higher levels of the game.
The Association also extended its appreciation to SmartCity for sponsoring the league for the second consecutive year, assuring that it will continue to promote and amplify the SmartCity brand as a committed partner in football development in Osun State.
