AMBO Visits Senator Omoworare: Strengthening Unity for Victory ahead of 2026 Gubernatorial Election

As part of our sustained consultations and grassroots engagements aimed at repositioning our great party for victory, yesterday, I paid a strategic visit to Senator Babajide Omoworare in Ile-Ife, alongside other key stakeholders and party leaders.
The meeting was held in the true spirit of reconciliation, party unity, and progressive understanding, reflecting our collective determination to close ranks, heal old wounds, and build a formidable, people-driven political family for the task ahead.
Our discussions centered on strengthening internal cohesion, deepening collaboration across all tendencies within the party, and expanding our grassroots base through inclusive participation. We collectively agreed that genuine reconciliation, not imposed unity, is the foundation upon which a strong, winning political structure must be built.
As the candidate of our party in the 2026 governorship election, I remain unwavering in my commitment to continuous consultation, grassroots mobilization, and bridge-building across all blocs, ensuring that our collective interest and the aspirations of our people always come before personal considerations.
With sustained engagement, people-focused politics, and sincere cooperation, I am confident that we will rebuild trust, energize our grassroots, and firmly return our State to the path of progressive governance in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
