Kaduna Gov Sani Says Tinubu Driving Bold Reforms and Restoring Confidence.

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has hailed President Bola Tinubu as a decisive and forward-looking leader, crediting his administration with initiating reforms aimed at stabilising Nigeria’s economy and laying the groundwork for long-term development.
Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) North-West Zonal Congress, the governor said the Tinubu administration’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” is already delivering measurable outcomes across key sectors. His remarks come amid growing political mobilisation within the ruling party ahead of future electoral contests, as reported by The Nation.
Sani highlighted agriculture as one of the areas witnessing renewed momentum, noting that targeted interventions are boosting productivity and restoring confidence among farmers. He also pointed to ongoing reforms in the oil and gas sector, which he said are improving efficiency and strengthening transparency within the industry.
According to Daily Trust, the governor further emphasised fiscal and tax policy adjustments introduced by the administration, describing them as critical steps toward economic stability and inclusive growth. He added that initiatives such as the student loan scheme are expanding access to education, particularly for young Nigerians from less privileged backgrounds.
The Kaduna governor also referenced infrastructure investments spanning roads, rail, and energy, noting that such projects are helping to reconnect communities and stimulate commercial activities nationwide. He maintained that these developments are not merely policy statements but tangible changes being felt at the grassroots level.
“In Kaduna and across the North-West, we are already seeing the impact,” he said, pointing to improved security, increased farming activity, and the gradual return of economic confidence in local markets.
Sani used the platform to call for unity within the APC, urging party delegates to approach the congress with discipline and a commitment to democratic values. He described the gathering as more than a leadership exercise, framing it as an opportunity to strengthen party structures and align strategies ahead of future political engagements.
He also welcomed new political entrants into the APC fold, including key figures from Kano and Zamfara States, describing their defection as a boost to the party’s national outlook. Coverage by The Guardian noted that the development reflects ongoing realignments within the political landscape as parties position themselves for 2027.
The governor concluded by reaffirming confidence in the current administration, insisting that the reforms underway are setting Nigeria on a path toward sustainable growth and shared prosperity.
