*OBOKUN 2026: HON. FOLAHAN ADENIYI SAMUEL ENGAGES APC APEX LEADERS, RALLIES SUPPORT FOR AMBO*

A House of Assembly aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, *Hon. Folahan Adeniyi Samuel*, on Wednesday held a strategic engagement with Apex Leaders of the party in Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State.

The meeting, which took place in Esa-Odo, focused on building political synergy and harmonizing strategies ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election in the state.

Hon. Samuel said the engagement was aimed at consolidating the APC’s strength across Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency and securing victory for the party’s governorship candidate, *Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, AMBO*.

According to him, the discussions were productive and centered on identifying key priorities required to win the election. He noted that he drew extensively from the wealth of experience, institutional memory, and grassroots understanding of the leaders, whose perspectives he described as critical to shaping the work ahead.

_“Their views, grounded in decades of community service and grassroots politics, are already guiding our approach as we stay focused on delivering for the people,”_ Samuel told reporters after the closed-door session.

The House of Assembly hopeful also used the forum to express appreciation to the leaders for the overwhelming support he received during the last election, when he flew the party’s flag. He further solicited their continued trust and backing to represent the APC again in the 2027 General Elections.

The well-attended meeting had in attendance several respected personalities from across Obokun LGA, including the Obokun/Oriade Apex Leader, *Baba Asiwaju Nasirudeen Komolafe*; *Hon. Bosun Oyintiloye*; *Elder Tunji Adesokun*; *Prof. Siji Ademiju*; *Baba C.O Esan*; *Baba Orunmuyiwa*; *Prince Ademola Adeyeye*; *Bashorun Tayo Omojowogbe*; *Elder Babanumi*; *Baba Alayegunle*; *Mr. Olamijulo*; and *Mrs. Bukola Omidiji*, among others.

Party sources at the meeting confirmed that the leaders pledged their wise counsel, prayers, and unanimous commitment to the “AMBO project,” expressing confidence that the level of unity displayed would guarantee APC’s victory on August 15, 2026.
