In a strategic move ahead of the forthcoming political season, Prince Dr. Abdulrasheed Muideen Romeo has paid a high-level consultation visit to the Osogbo Apex Leadership, under the revered leadership of Chief Abdulraheem Adegboye, popularly known as Baba Fefe, to formally seek guidance and blessings for his aspiration to represent Osogbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The visit, which drew the attention of key political stakeholders and loyalists within the Osogbo political structure, underscored Prince Romeo’s commitment to due process, respect for established leadership, and inclusive engagement as he prepares for the journey ahead.
Speaking during the meeting, Prince Romeo expressed deep respect for the leadership and wisdom of the Apex Council, describing Baba Fefe as a father figure and custodian of political stability in Osogbo. He noted that his decision to consult widely stems from his belief in collective leadership and the need to carry along all critical stakeholders in the constituency.
“I am here to seek your fatherly guidance, prayers, and support as I aspire to serve our people at the federal level. Your counsel is invaluable, and I remain committed to a people-oriented representation that prioritizes development, empowerment, and unity,” he said.
In his response, Chief Abdulraheem Adegboye (Baba Fefe) commended Prince Romeo for his humility and respect for the party’s leadership structure, noting that such consultations are vital for fostering unity and strengthening the party’s chances in future elections. He assured the aspirant of the Apex Leadership’s readiness to provide necessary guidance while urging him to remain steadfast and focused.
Other members of the Apex Leadership present at the meeting also offered words of encouragement, emphasizing the importance of loyalty, grassroots connection, and consistent engagement with the people.
The visit is widely seen as a significant step in Prince Romeo’s political consultations, as momentum continues to build around his aspiration within Osogbo Federal Constituency.
