Crocodile Tears Won’t Save You: APC Blasts Adeleke Over ‘Baseless’ Tinubu, Oyetola Allegations, Says Defeat Is Inevitable

…Says, ‘Your Shedding Of Crocodile Tears Won’t Prevent Your Imminent Defeat
Ahead of the 15th August, 2026 Osun State governorship election, the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has accused the state Governor Ademola Adeleke who is seeking re-election under the relatively unknown and verifiably unpopular Accord Party in the state of needlessly blaming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the immediate-past governor of the state, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola now Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, of being responsible for his political woes.
It would be recalled that Governor Adeleke who was speaking at a campaign rally in Osogbo on Monday accused the duo of President Tinubu and Oyetola of being responsible for his political misfortune in the state towards the forthcoming governorship election.
The visibly disorganised state governor reminded President Tinubu that he(the governor) saw no reason for what he called his political persecution despite the fact that he has endorsed him as the presidential candidate of the Accord Party in the 2027 election.
Adeleke who also accused the police of compromise against his government reminded his supporters that he remained the Chief Security Officer of the state, added that “why are they killing us? Osun will not accept any rigging. We will go out en masse and defend our votes.
“Why is our money being kept? Oyetola needs to be called to order. I have done very well for my state. The blood of those killed will not allow those responsible for it to rest in peace”, the confused governor stated at the rally.
It was disheartening that such a sweeping allegation of political victimisation against his government could be made by a governor who is known by all and sundry to be responsible for fuelling, promoting and bankrolling political violence in the state.
The unsubstantiated allegations of the puppet Governor Adeleke who covers his inadequacy by resulting to dancing when injection of intellect is needed against President Tinubu and Oyetola are misplaced and frivolous as such amount to making a justification for his imminent defeat in the forthcoming governorship election.
One would have expected the sinking governor to state in his needless political inciting statement session at the rally to give the reasons why he has made the state Government House a refuge for the political hoodlums who have been on the wanted list of the police and why he has been empowering the dangerous political thugs with juicy political appointments.
The discerning minds in the society would have been anxious to know the reason why few days to the governorship election in the state, the drowning and desperate governor has been granting undeserved and questionable amnesty to some of the dangerous political thugs serving various jail terms in the correctional centres across the state?
The main problem with Governor Adeleke is that competition is strange to him which is the reason he is crying of political persecution all over the place without any tangible proof to establish his frivolous allegations.
We want to remind Governor Adeleke that his recall of the endorsement of President Tinubu as his presidential candidate in the 2027 election wasn’t forced on him and such his decision would not be the reason why he should not be prepared for a free, fair, credible and inclusive forthcoming governorship election in Osun State.
Why the worry if it is true that Governor Adeleke has done well for his state as the forthcoming 15th August, 2026 governorship election will be a yardstick to measure his claim in this regard?
No one is contesting Governor Adeleke being the constitutional chief security officer of the state while the crux of the matter is why is it that it is the same self-acclaimed  state CSO that has been the architect of the series of security breaches in the state?
The crescendo of the desperate, confused and frustrated governor was when he cursed himself that the blood of those killed in the state will not allow those responsible for the extra-judicial killings to rest in peace as it is a barefaced fact that the governor and his party, the Accord Party, have been responsible for the needless shedding of the blood of the innocent APC members and supporters across the state.
Governor Adeleke who also alleged that the state money was being kept and that Oyetola needed to be called to order is an example of an accident leader who could not effectively process and marshal his thoughts and points as his allegations in this regard are devoid of meaningful comprehension in the estimation of any discerning minds.
It is the fear of his imminent loss of the forthcoming governorship election that is dawning on the confused governor who is thinking that his needless whipping up of sentiment would effect any change in the election outcome that is strategically positioned to be won by our hardworking and pragmatic governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji AMBO.
The reward of hard work is success which is the fundamental reason our candidate is not bargaining for less when Governor Adeleke was wining and dining and frolicking with  women of easy virtues across the globe in the name of sourcing for illusive foreign investors for close to four years.
