Anambra Police Arrest Gun Runner in Onitsha; See Numbers of Live Cartridges Seized From Him

Officers from the Fegge division in Onitsha have arrested 48-year-old Felix Owaya from Ika South LGA, Delta State, and seized 375 live cartridges during an operation on Niger Street, Fegge, Onitsha.
According to Police Public Relations Officer, SP Toochukwu Ikenga, the suspect confessed during interrogation that he was instructed by a Mr. Charles Ogboma to collect the ammunition for an unidentified individual.
Commending the officers for their vigilance and dedication, Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam, urged all personnel in the Command to maintain their efforts in crime prevention and detection to ensure the safety of the state’s residents.
