Be patient with Tinubu, Oluwo tells Nigerians
The Oluwo of Iwo in Osun State, Oba Adewale Akanbi, has appealed to Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu in efforts to make the country.
He, however, appealed to the Federal Government to do more to ameliorate the negative effects of subsidy removal on Nigerians.
Oba Akanbi, who spoke at the 32nd Iwo Day Celebrations held at the Oluwo Township Stadium in Iwo on Saturday, also advised Nigerians to be patient and allow President Bola Tinubu to improve the fortune of the country.
He said, “I’m appealing to the Federal Government to keep on giving their best and write their names in gold. Although the Federal Government is already doing things to cushion the effect of subsidy (removal), we still want them to do more.”
