Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, the daughter of President Bola Tinubu and the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, has been appointed as Ambassador for the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education (NCAOOSCE).

The announcement was made by Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris, the Executive Secretary of the commission, during a courtesy visit to the Iyaloja-General’s palace in Lagos.

In a statement released in Abuja by the commission’s spokesperson, Nura Muhammad, Idris highlighted Tinubu-Ojo’s dedication to supporting marginalized communities, particularly Almajiri and out-of-school children, as the basis for her appointment. He also commended her contributions to promoting trade and improving access to resources for market women.

Tinubu-Ojo expressed her gratitude for the honor, vowing to work towards improving the conditions of these vulnerable groups. She underscored her father’s commitment to education as a key legacy for Nigerian children, which is reflected in his own family.
