Daylight Robbery in Ikeja: Gbenga Obama Attacked, Gold Chain Snatched

A brazen robbery took place in the heart of Ikeja as Gbenga Obama was violently stripped of his gold chain in broad daylight. The incident occurred on Fadeyi Aladura Street and was captured on CCTV.
In the footage, Gbenga is seen speaking casually with two men by the roadside. A motorcycle carrying two individuals rides past, circles back, and stops nearby. Within seconds, one of the men jumps off the bike, fires a warning shot into the air, and sends Gbenga’s companions fleeing.
Realizing he’s the target, Gbenga attempts to escape, darting around a parked car and rushing into a nearby office. The gunman gives chase, follows him inside, and forcibly removes the gold chain before dashing back to the waiting bike. Both attackers then speed off, disappearing from the scene.
The footage has since been circulated widely, sparking concern over rising insecurity in the area.
