In a tragic incident, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abubakar Muhammad Guri of the Police Mobile Force (PMF) was discovered dead in his office at Louis Edet House, Force Headquarters, Abuja, on Monday.
A source at the headquarters confirmed the occurrence to BusinessDay Newspaper, noting that DCP Guri collapsed and died shortly after arriving at his office on Monday morning.
Witnesses reported no prior signs of illness or distress before the unexpected event. Those present described how the officer, dressed in his uniform, suddenly slumped in his chair. Immediate medical assistance was sought, but efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
