DSS Arrests Ladi Adebutu After Clash Involving Illegal Policemen During Ogun LGA Elections

The Department of State Services (DSS) in Ogun State has detained Ladi Adebutu following an altercation that took place during Saturday’s local government elections. According to reports, a group of unauthorized mobile policemen from Mopol 46, based in Lagos, opened fire on Adebutu, who was a Vice Chairmanship candidate.
Sources reveal that these illegal officers were tracked to Adebutu’s residence, where they clashed with DSS and police personnel carrying out an operation under the directives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and Ogun State’s Commissioner of Police (CP).
In the course of the operation, seven illegal policemen were arrested, while several others managed to flee the scene. One officer was also taken into custody during the confrontation.
