Nigeria has proclaimed January 15th of every year as marking the end of the Nigeria-Biafra Civil War in 1970 and as Armed Forces Remembrance Day. This day honours the bravery of the Nigerian Armed Forces in the First World War, the Second World War, and the Nigeria-Biafra Civil War, as well as the efforts made by them to promote national unity.
Comrade Tai Manuel , the founder of Friend Of Seyi Tinubu(FOST), a Charity Organization, that was created with the main aims and objective to help the less fortunate on scholarship, free food distribution and free healthcare to the old and indigent, which demonstrate true humanitarianism, and for community development in Nigeria. He has not only joined prominent Nigerians in praising the valour of the fallen heroes in maintaining Nigerian unity, but he has also taken advantage of the occasion to preach peace and unity throughout the nation.
According to the indefatigable Comrade, he said Nigerians should see this day as a day of sober reflection, he also urged the government to further implement policies that will enhance our unity in diversity without set back. This will pave way for Nigeria to advance in its economic, security, social, political, coexistence, and infrastructure development over time.
