In a dedicated effort to achieve food security, I have organized the free distribution of 41,400 bags of fertilizer to farmers across the 44 local government areas of Kano State. This initiative aims to support farmers from all three senatorial districts: Kano North, Central, and South. The distribution will also include clerics, traditional leaders, elders, and party leaders.

With the onset of the rainy season, the importance of fertilizer for a successful harvest cannot be overstated. Agriculture is a vital part of our economy, particularly in Northern Nigeria, which serves as the nation’s food basket. By providing this crucial support, my goal is to enhance our farmers’ productivity and significantly contribute to our GDP.

I encourage all beneficiaries to use this opportunity wisely and invest in their farms for a prosperous farming season. Together, with God’s grace, we will achieve great success.
