The Plateau State Police Command announced the arrest of Kabiru Mohammed, a resident of Sabon Gari Narabi in Toro LGA, Bauchi State, for allegedly stealing a Toyota Hiace bus.

Police spokesperson Alabo Alfred reported that Mohammed was apprehended on Wednesday in Jos, the state capital, just three days after the vehicle was reported missing.

According to the statement, “The Plateau State Police Command is pleased to inform the public that a stolen Toyota Hiace bus, missing since Monday, September 16, 2024, has been successfully recovered. Following the report, officers from the Bukuru Division quickly initiated stop-and-search operations in the area. The vehicle was located in the possession of Kabiru Mohammed at around 12:45 AM on September 18, 2024.”
