How Gunmen Abduct FUBK Student Augustine Madubiya, Kill One in Kebbi State Attack

The incident occurred when the assailants invaded a residential area, targeting the home of Augustine Madubiya, a student of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK). Eyewitnesses say the gunmen arrived under the cover of darkness, shooting sporadically to instill fear before forcibly taking the student away.
Tragically, one resident lost his life during the invasion, reportedly shot while attempting to flee the scene. The identity of the deceased has not been officially released, but community members have expressed deep sorrow over the loss and growing concern over rising insecurity in the region.
Security agencies have been alerted and have launched a manhunt to track down the attackers and ensure the safe return of the kidnapped student. Meanwhile, residents are calling on authorities to intensify efforts to secure lives and properties in the area.
