Toyin Abraham Vows to Hold Online Bullies Accountable

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has spoken out against what she claims is a coordinated effort by some social media users to defame her and damage her career. During an Instagram live session, Abraham alleged that individuals are being paid to malign her reputation, and she is determined to fight back.

According to Naija News, the actress addressed accusations that she had a user’s mother arrested for alleged bullying. Abraham insisted that she has not committed any crime warranting the online harassment she has faced.

She attributed the attacks to her support for President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 election. Resolute in her stance, Toyin declared that while she is prepared to die, she will ensure that those who have slandered and bullied her will not go unpunished.

Mr. Macaroni Weighs in on Alleged Arrest by Toyin Abraham

In the midst of this controversy, Nigerian skit maker and actor Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni, shared his perspective. An X user claimed that Toyin Abraham had his mother arrested over cyberbullying, despite his denial of any online attacks against her.

In a post on his X page, he stressed that victims of online harassment should pursue justice through the courts, ensuring that perpetrators face the consequences.

He warned against using governmental connections to illegally detain citizens, cautioning that such actions could have serious repercussions when those in power are no lo

nger in office.
