JUST IN: Senate Approves Bill to Reinstate ‘Nigeria, We Hail Thee’ as National Anthem
On Tuesday, the Senate approved the National Anthem Bill 2024, which aims to reinstate the former national anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”
The bill swiftly moved through its first and second readings and is now pending President Bola Tinubu’s signature to become law.
Last Thursday, the House of Representatives also passed the bill.
