Katsina State Gives N45,000 Financial Support to Civil Servants for Sallah Celebrations

Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has introduced a special financial aid package of N45,000 for civil servants in anticipation of the upcoming Eid-l-Kabir celebrations. This support is designed to ease the financial strain on employees within the State Unified Local Government Service and Local Education Authorities during the festive season.

As detailed in a statement by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Radda, the N45,000 aid is structured in two segments:

1. A N30,000 loan/advance, which will be repaid over three months (July, August, and September) with a monthly installment of N10,000.
2. A N15,000 Sallah bonus given to each civil servant to ensure they can celebrate Eid-l-Kabir without financial worries.

Malam Falalu Bawale, the Katsina State Head of Service, commended the Governor’s initiative, noting that this financial assistance will provide significant relief to many families, allowing them to enjoy the festive occasion fully.
