The Lagos State government has closed down a restaurant owned by celebrity bartender Cubana Chief Priest. The establishment, named Donald’s, which had been operational around the clock since its recent opening in August, was shut down due to issues related to noise pollution and other environmental violations.
Tokumbo Wahab, Lagos State Commissioner for Environment, announced the closure via social media. He stated, “Despite multiple warnings and abatement notices, the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has sealed Donald’s Fast Food on Adebayo Doherty Street, Lekki 1, due to noise pollution and various environmental infractions.”
