NCAA Demands Accountability from Kenya Airways Over Alleged Mistreatment of Nigerian Passenger

1. There has been a consistent pattern of mistreatment toward Nigerian passengers by your airline, including incidents involving NCAA staff members.
2. I have informed the passenger that inappropriate behavior at airports is unacceptable, and it could result in blacklisting by the airline or even fines. The NCAA does not tolerate misconduct.
3. There was no justification for attempting to forcibly delete her video recording.
4. If the passenger did not meet the visa requirements, you should not have allowed her to board the flight from Nigeria. You issued her boarding passes and permitted her departure from Lagos.
5. She arrived in Nigeria via your airline on the same route.
6. The passenger claims to have contacted the airline before purchasing her ticket and was assured that she was eligible to travel because she holds a BRP.
7. The comments made by your staff were highly unprofessional for individuals working in the aviation industry. Telling her to “call your president” raises serious concerns.
8. You will be required to provide CCTV footage to confirm whether the passenger threw used sanitary towels at your staff, instead of following the instructions to place them on the table when requested by your personnel.
9. The NCAA has scheduled a meeting with your Acting Station Manager in Lagos at 1pm today. We will thoroughly examine all aspects of this case. Attendance is mandatory.
