LNFF to Discipline Victor Osimhen for Misconduct
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will soon initiate disciplinary action against Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen for improper conduct following his verbal attack on former national team coach Finidi George. Finidi resigned after the NFF announced plans to hire a foreign coach.
Osimhen criticized Finidi over reports questioning his commitment, particularly regarding his absence from recent World Cup qualifiers. Despite discussions with NFF President Ibrahim Muse Guseu and an explanation from Finidi, Osimhen has not retracted his statements.
The NFF intends to address the issue after the Salah break.
