Close to 8 months after secret medical tests, Christopher Nkunku has been unveiled as new Chelsea signing. I am incredibly happy to be joining Chelsea,” said Nkunku, who came through the Paris Saint-Germain youth system.

FCG learned that the player has signed a six-year deal with Chelsea which is valid until June 2029. Chelsea paid transfer fee close to €60m to RB Leipzig.

Nkunku is Chelsea’s second signing of the summer after the transfer of 16-year-old Ecuadorian midfielder Kendry Paez from Independiente del Valle for €20m (£17.27m). He will not join the club until 2025, when he turns 18.
