OMISORE DISMISSES PURPORTED COURT SUIT AGAINST APC, DESCRIBES CLAIM AS FALSE AND POLITICALLY MOTIVATED

Former Senator Iyiola Omisore, has dismissed reports circulating in some quarters alleging that he has instituted a court case against the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the claim as false, misleading, and politically motivated.

Case code
Reacting to the purported suit titled FHC/OS/CS/261/2025 – Senator Iyiola Omisore v. APC & ANR, Omisore stated that the document being circulated contains glaring inconsistencies, including a wrong and questionable date, which raises serious doubts about its authenticity.
He emphasised that the All Progressives Congress has not even conducted its gubernatorial screening or primary election, making the claim that he has approached the court on such a matter illogical and baseless.
According to him, the narrative appears to be a figment of the imagination of the ruling Accord Party and the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, aimed at creating unnecessary political tension and confusion within the opposition.
Omisore therefore urged party members, supporters, and the general public to disregard the purported suit, stressing that he has not filed any court action against the APC regarding the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
He further called on those behind the circulation of the document to desist from spreading falsehood and political propaganda, noting that such acts are capable of misleading the public and heating up the political atmosphere in Osun State.
