Only God Can Judge, Wike Responds Strongly to Rivers Crisis
Nyesom Wike, the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and former governor of Rivers State, has once again directed harsh criticism at his predecessor, Peter Odili. Speaking at a luncheon he hosted for his political allies and stakeholders in Port Harcourt, Wike firmly rejected calls for him to apologize to Odili.Â
This demand for an apology came from a group identifying itself as the “Concerned Elders of Rivers State,” who had criticized Wike’s recent remarks about Odili. Wike, visibly emotional, emphasized that only God could judge the situation, doubling down on his stance amid the ongoing political crisis in Rivers.
