Osun ALGON Welcomes LG Workers Back, Assures Peaceful Resumption Across Councils

*… anticipates renewed dedication from workforce for grassroots developments*

The Forum of the Council Chairmen in Osun State under the umbrella of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), has welcomed the decision of the leadership and members of the local government workers to resume work today.

Osun ALGON assured the local government workers a conducive working environment across the councils in the state upon resumption to their various duties.

ALGON, in a statement signed by its Chairman who doubled as the Executive Chairman, Ifedayo Local Government Area, Hon. Idowu Samuel Abiodun said the elected officers across the Councils in the state are anticipated of a renewed commitment to duty by every worker as part of efforts to build a virile and economically vibrant local government administration in the state.

“We openly and warmly welcome council workers for their resolve to resume duty. This is indeed a welcome development. We anticipate genuine commitment and dedication to duty across levels. On our part, we are ready to receive every worker back to work and we want to assure all of adequate and maximum security as guaranteed by the security agencies in the state”, the state reads in parts.
