Petrol Prices Set to Rise; See Reasons

Petrol prices are expected to rise as depot owners have raised their prices by approximately 4.74%, following the recent surge in crude oil prices. This week, the price of Nigeria’s Bonny Light crude oil increased to $80 per barrel, up from $73 per barrel the previous week.
Several depots have already adjusted their prices, with Swift Depot increasing its price to ₦950 per litre from ₦907 per litre. Similarly, Wosbab Depot raised its price to ₦950 per litre, up from ₦909 per litre, and Sahara Depot also adjusted its price to ₦950 per litre, from ₦910 per litre. Shellplux Depot increased its loading price to ₦960 per litre, from ₦908 per litre.
